Hi there, I'm Morgan!

I moved to Greenville, North Carolina with my husband in 2021, however, I'm originally from the (sometimes) sunny, (always) beautiful Catskill Mountain area in upstate New York (Walton, to be exact). I am a natural light portrait photographer who loves chasing that golden sunshine. I started this business in 2016, and I have been learning, creating, and growing ever since. I absolutely love this career because it allows me to share my artistic abilities and my outgoing, fun personality. I love capturing the atmosphere of people who have an eagerness to laugh and who are just enjoying themselves and the people they love. In my opinion, anyone can take your picture and give you photos, for me, it needs to be more than that. I want to give you memories you can cherish forever because we all know that time slips by way too fast. What makes my work unique amongst a wealth of other photographers, is that my photographs are not just posed shots where I say, “stand like this, and smile”. Sure, I might have a few of those but in all reality, those aren’t genuine. I want to give you a fun experience that ends with you receiving beautiful photos that document your authentic, raw moments. I want to capture the feeling of a moment — the way your partner looks at you in adoration, the way your child's nose crinkles from laughing at something really funny, and all the moments in between.

.

It’s important for me to get to know you,

so you should be able to get to know me

I am a 20-something-year-old college graduate, daughter, older sister to one, neice to about nine uncles and aunts, and cousin to too many to count. I probably have the most patience for little ones seeing as I did a lot of babysitting growing up. Most of my family and close friends know me as ‘Morg’,  ‘Morgy’, or ‘Morgy Porgy Pudding Pie’ as my grandfather used to say. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Nathan, and we've been together for what seems like forever now. I am passionate about family gatherings, laughter, decorating our home, and anything cozy (you should see how many blankets I own). When I’m not behind the camera, I like to spend quiet nights at home with Nathan, catching up on our TV shows. I will always be a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, but right now we are loving The Masked Singer, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Worst Cooks in America. Some of my favorite things are old fashion cameras, weekend getaways, white chocolate, breakfast food, and the beach. The mountains in the fall are definitely a close second, but the beach on a warm summer day has my heart.

Through high school, I took the only photography class they had. Then I went to Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, NY to get my Associates Degree in Liberal Arts all while taking every photography class I could. After that, I transferred to SUNY New Paltz to apply for and complete my Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts, specializing in Photography, where pretty much all of my classes were about photography. Since they had such a great Fine Arts program, I have had the opportunity to have my work exhibited in multiple galleries around the town of New Paltz and even had my work displayed at a gallery in Russia (along with some of my other classmates' work). All of those classes and opportunities have led me to where I am today and I love continuously learning about this creative industry.

Now that you know my story, I can’t wait to meet you and hear yours!
